Team Rasta Rolls Past Swiss Army Behind Balanced Attack
7/15/2026
Team Rasta put together a strong offensive performance, skating past Swiss Army with an 8-1 win. Rasta jumped out early in the first period when Rob Pease opened the scoring. David Greene followed with another goal, assisted by Brandon Vigorito and Dave Biskowitz, giving Rasta a 2-0 lead after one. Rasta kept building the lead in the second period. Mike Giannone scored off assists from Joe Czerwinski and Peter Cross, then Joey Costanzo added another from Cross. Giannone struck again later in the period, with Greene and Cross picking up the assists, as Rasta took firm control of the game. In the third, Costanzo scored his second of the night off assists from Czerwinski and Vigorito. Swiss Army got on the board with a goal from Ryan Mliczek, but Rasta answered back with Vin Ahuja scoring from Vigorito and Costanzo. Greene then closed out the scoring with his second goal of the game, assisted by Pease. Greene, Giannone, and Costanzo each scored twice for Team Rasta, while Vigorito and Cross each had three assists. Pease also had a strong game with a goal and an assist as Rasta used contributions throughout the lineup to secure the win.
C. McGriskin Hat Trick Powers H-Town Past Venom
7/14/2026
H-Town Assassins used a fast start and a balanced offensive effort to skate past Venom, picking up a 9-4 win. H-Town jumped out early in the first period, with Curtis McGriskin opening the scoring off a feed from Ben Bevington. Bevington then scored from McGriskin, and McGriskin added another from Bevington to quickly put the Assassins in control. Venom got on the board later in the period when Mike DiMaiolo scored off an assist from Dave Falk. Venom pushed back in the second, getting a goal from Dale Campbell to cut into the lead. H-Town answered with McGriskin completing the hat trick off a setup from Courtenay Batcha, followed by Luke Batcha scoring from Finn Getz. Campbell struck again for Venom, this time assisted by Reid Tenzer, but H-Town responded once more with Getz scoring from Batcha to keep the momentum on the Assassins’ side. In the third, H-Town continued to pull away. Getz scored his second of the game, Venom answered with Sean Dailey scoring from Falk, and Jack Harmon closed out the scoring for H-Town off an assist from Getz. McGriskin led the way with a hat trick and an assist, while Getz had a big night with two goals and two assists. Bevington added a goal and two assists for H-Town. For Venom, Campbell scored twice and Falk chipped in two assists.
Tully’s Timely Saves Help ZPG Hold Off WCFD
7/14/2026
ZPG picked up a tight 3-2 win over WCFD, using timely scoring and a strong performance in goal from Chris Tully to come away with the victory. ZPG opened the scoring in the first period when Dan Savatteri finished a setup from Bob Casteel to give his team the early lead. In the second, ZPG extended the advantage as Gregg Davis scored off an assist from Lukas Ahmadi, making it 2-0. WCFD pushed back in the third period, cutting into the lead with a goal from Nick Kustas. ZPG answered when Mike Failla scored off assists from Leo Bertoldi and Anthony Studer, giving ZPG some breathing room. WCFD kept battling, with Ivan Arnone scoring from Shawn Bray and Matt Gilroy to make it a one-goal game. From there, Tully came up with several timely saves for ZPG, helping protect the lead and close out the win. It was a hard-fought game, but ZPG did enough late to hold off WCFD’s third-period push.
