Jack Olsen Leads Swiss Army Surge in 8-1 Win Over WCFD
5/19/2026
Swiss Army came out flying and never looked back, powering past WCFD with an 8-1 victory behind a dominant offensive performance from Jack Olsen and a strong night in goal from Anthony Palmieri. Swiss Army set the tone early in the first period when Jack Olsen opened the scoring unassisted at 10:23. Just over two minutes later, Jon Olsen made it 2-0 off a feed from Jack Olsen. Swiss kept the pressure on as John Olsen tipped home a shot from Liam Trampota and Mike Lucci at 4:00, before Jack Olsen added another unassisted breakaway goal with just 45 seconds left in the period to give Swiss Army a commanding 4-0 lead. Jack Olsen continued his big night in the second, scoring off a pass from Dave Stelmach at 8:30. WCFD answered at 6:00 when Dan Weber finished a setup from Nick Kustas, but Swiss quickly regained control. Jack Olsen struck again unassisted at 2:45 to complete a four-goal performance and push the lead to 6-1. Swiss Army added two more in the third period. Max Greenberg scored at 6:20 from Liam Trampota and Jack Olsen, and Trampota capped the scoring with an unassisted goal at 5:00. While Swiss Army’s offense controlled the scoreboard, Anthony Palmieri was excellent in net, coming up with several big saves to shut down WCFD’s chances and keep Swiss firmly in control throughout the game.
Mayhem Pulls Away Late in 6-2 Win Over H-Town
5/18/2026
Mayhem used a dominant third period to secure a 6-2 win over H-Town in a hard-fought matchup. Matt McPhail opened the scoring for Mayhem in the first period with an unassisted goal, but H-Town responded when Rich Baumann finished a setup from Jon Auerbach to tie the game at 1-1 after one. Mayhem took control in the second period. Pat Urban scored off a feed from Steve Timmons, and McPhail added his second of the game from Rob McMillan to give Mayhem a 3-1 lead heading into the third. In the final period, Mayhem broke the game open. Bob Maguire scored from Dan Murphy, Josh Zukerberg added another from McMillan, and Stephen Guarducci finished a play set up by Timmons and Shane Daiek to extend the lead. H-Town got one back late when Erik Arfalk scored from Curtis McGriskin, but Mayhem closed out the 6-2 victory. McPhail led the way with two goals, while Timmons, McMillan, Maguire, Zukerberg, Guarducci, and Urban all contributed to a strong Mayhem win.
